Know HIM? Police Seek Suspect In Newark Uber Driver Robbery Authorities are seeking the public's help identifying a man who they say assaulted and robbed an Uber driver in Newark. Police say the driver picked up a male passenger at 31 South St. shortly after 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 20. The man, pictured above, punched the driver and stole her cell phone before running west on South Street, authorities said. The victim was treated for injuries at St. Michael’s Hospital and released, police say.
