Two Passengers Hospitalized After Linden Driver Crashes Stolen Car Into Utility Pole The two passengers of a stolen Nissan sedan were hospitalized after their 20-year-old driver slammed into a utility pole Wednesday, Feb. 16 in Linden, authorities said. Brucely Bertin, of Union, was heading southbound in a stolen 2009 Nissan Altima when he lost control and hit the pole at North Wood Avenue and Gesner Street around 3 a.m., Linden police said. One of Bertin's passengers, a 16-year-old girl, was ejected and seriously injured, and taken to University Hospital, according to police. Roselle Man, 30, Indicted In Linden Arson Spree A Union County grand jury returned a nine-count indictment against a Roselle man accused of setting a series of fires in Linden. Marcus D.
