No Foul Play Suspected In Death Of Man Found At Garrett Mountain The death of a 42-year-old man whose body was found at the Garrett Mountain Reservation on Thursday doesn't appear suspicious, authorities said. Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Acting Passaic County Sheriff Gary Giardina confirmed the 1 p.m. Feb. 1 discovery in the Woodland Park preserve. They didn't indicate, however, whether they suspect suicide, overdose or other type of death. Male Body Found In Newark Dumpster: Prosecutors A body of a man was found in a dumpster in Newark on Thursday, Sept. 28, authorities said. At 5:19 p.m., Newark police found the body inside a dumpster on the 600 block of Clinton Avenue, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II and Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, Stephens and Fragé said. The man remains unidentified, Stephens and Fragé said. Man Found Dead Inside Scotch Plains Apartment Authorities were investigating the death of a man inside a Scotch Plains apartment Tuesday. Officers found the man dead inside of a unit on the 500 block of Park Avenue around 11 a.m., after a local resident called for a welfare check, local police said.
