Route 17 Crash Closes Two Lanes A driver was hospitalized Tuesday morning after a multi-vehicle collision on southbound Route 17 in Hackensack. The left and center lanes were temporarily closed near the exit for Hasbrouck Heights before the road splits between Routes 17 and 80 around 9:30 a.m. following the crash, which involved a Mercedes driven by the injured female motorist, an Uber driver's Honda and a crane-arm flatbed truck. Large backups immediately followed. The Mercedes driver's injuries didn't appear life-threatening, responders said.

Garden State Parkway Crash Jams Traffic Two lanes of traffic were blocked on the Garden State Parkway in Paramus late Saturday morning after a multi-vehicle collision. Paramus police, firefighters and EMS were joined at the scene by New Jersey State Police on the parkway's southbound side near mile marker 164.4 shortly before 11 a.m. Four ambulances were requested, but no serious injuries were immediately reported.
