Reward: $5,000 Offered To Help Find Newark Murder Suspects Authorities in Essex County are offering a reward of up to $5,000 for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the individuals involved in the murder of an East Orange man. Marquis Forman, 27, of East Orange was shot near 712 Springfield Ave. in Newark shortly before 7:45 p.m. on Jan. 15, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II said. He later died of his injuries. The suspects were last seen traveling south on South 20th Street towards Avon Avenue in a silver Caravan, authorities said. East Orange Man Killed In Newark Shooting, Authorities Say A 27-year-old East Orange man was identified as the victim of a fatal Newark shooting. Marquis Forman was killed on the 700 block of Springfield Avenue around 7:40 p.m. Wednesday, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II and Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose said. He was transported to University Hospital where he was pronounced dead 8:19 p.m. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
