Man, 26, Shot In Linden (

A 26-year-old man was shot in the abdomen in Linden on the afternoon of Thursday, May 4, authorities said. Officers responded to the 10 block of N. Wood Ave and located the victim, who suffered a single gunshot wound, Captain Christopher Guenther said. The victim was treated on scene and transported to Newark University Hospital, Guenther said. The incident remains under investigation by the Linden Police Detective Bureau. Anyone with information is urged to contact Det. Woman Shot During Domestic Dispute In Linden: Police
A woman was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after being shot in a Linden domestic dispute, authorities said. Police responding to the scene on the 800 block of Baldwin Avenue found the woman around 10:15 a.m., local police said. The victim said she'd been shot during a domestic argument. The suspect, who was still inside the home, surrendered to officers without incident, police said. The woman was treated on scene and taken to Newark University Hospital. The incident remains under investigation by the Linden Police Detective Bureau.

Shots Fired Outside Linden Movie Theater
A gunman fired shots at a Linden shopping center Monday, Oct. 10, local police said. Photos from the scene show police had taped off the area around the AMC Theater in the Aviation Shopping Plaza sometime after 4:15 p.m. Responding officers found multiple casings in the area. No injuries have been reported. This incident remains under investigation by the Linden Police Detective Bureau, and anyone with information is urged to contact Det. Linden Nightclub Shooting Injures Three Victims
An argument that started inside of a Linden nightclub over the weekend ended in the shooting of three individuals, leaving two seriously injured, authorities said. A man involved went to his car during the argument at Menga Lounge on St. George's Avenue around 2:05 a.m. and returned with a gun, before firing several shots through the door into the vestibule on Saturday, Aug. 6, Linden police said. 2-Year-Old Boy Drowns In Backyard North Jersey Pool
A 2-year-old boy drowned in his family's backyard pool over the weekend in Union County, authorities said. Family members pulled the boy from the pool on the 400 block of McKinley Street in Linden and immediately began CPR on Sunday, July 31, Linden Police Capt. Christopher Guenther said. The boy was rushed to Trinitas Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The incident remains under joint investigation by the Linden Police Detective Bureau, the Linden Police Juvenile Aid Bureau, and the Union County Homide Task Force.

Gunman Arrested In Weekend Linden Shooting, Police Say
A 33-year-old gunman was arrested following a Linden shooting Sunday evening, authorities announced. Ramon Perez Jr shot the 44-year-old Rahway victim on the 500 block of Union Street around 3:40 p.m., Linden Police Lt. Christopher Guenther said. The victim was treated on scene, then transported to Newark University Hospital. He was last listed in stable condition. Shooting Reported Near Linden Strip Club, Victim Critical
Authorities are investigating reports of a shooting near a Linden strip club early Saturday morning that left a 30-year-old man with serious injuries, police said. The shooting was reported near Cheeques Gentleman's Club, 1230 E.
