New Providence Man Secretly Recorded Video Of Stepdaughter, Authorities Say
A 34-year-old New Providence man was arrested Friday for recording video of his stepdaughter in the bathroom, the Union County Prosecutor's Office said. Esteban Gomez-Barrantes has been charged with invasion of privacy and endangering the welfare of a child. According to authorities, Gomez-Barrantes placed his cell phone under some laundry in the bathroom on June 3. The phone was recording video and had an unobstructed view the bathroom.
