At 5:15 a.m., burglars driving a four-door gray Hyundai attempted to enter a window into a residence at Conover Avenue, Nutley police said. The burglars were scared off by a barking dog, police said. Found! Missing Hudson County Dog Reunited With Family Rocco the dog has been returned to Hudson County. The Jack Russell terrier, who was taken from a home in Bayonne on Monday, July 24, was found safe and returned to his family on Wednesday, July 26 at 772 Avenue C, Bayonne Police Capt. Eric Amato said. Rocco was taken by a group of people while on his front porch at 41st Street and Avenue E, Amato said.
