Roselle Man Busted With Illegal Handgun: Linden PD A 29-year-old Roselle man was was arrested and charged with having an illegal loaded handgun on Thursday, Oct. 12, Linden police said. At 10 p.m. officers responded to Dill Avenue and Adams Street following the activation of a gunshot detection device, police. Officers saw Wazir Davis walking from the area and attempted to stop him, but Davis ignored them and ran across the street into an apartment building. Keen-Eyed Officer Spots Linden Porch Pirates: Police Two men were arrested after an off-duty Linden police officer saw them steal packages on Wednesday afternoon, June 7, authorities said. Changzhu Lu, 42 and Tung Wong, 57, both Brooklyn residents were spotted by the officer picking up a package from a porch of a home on the 1700 block of Dill Avenue, police said. The officer knew the homeowner and did not recognize the men, police said. The officer called dispatch for assistance as he saw the men drop the package in nearby bushes, police said.
