A 7-Eleven gas station attendant was shot during a robbery on Saturday, July 13, authorities said. Two men pulled up in a black sedan and demanded money from a gas station attendant, Bloomfield police said. The attendant refused to turn over the money and was shot in the leg with a black semiautomatic handgun, police said. The suspects proceeded to flee the scene, police said. Gerard Calcagno, a 55-year-old Bloomfield resident, was killed when he was struck by a vehicle on Route 46 in Parsippany on Thursday, June 6, authorities said.
