Community Rallies Around Detective's Ailing Mother Jaber Jaber, a detective with the Guttenberg Police Department, is trying to help his mother anyway he can. Jaber recently found out his mother is ill and faces a long and expensive medical battle. A fundraiser has been organized by the Guttenberg PBA to assist the medical bills and allow her to get treatment she needs.  As of Tuesday, June 20, more than $9,000 has been raised.  "We want him to concentrate on helping his mother recover, not on medical bills," Andres Lozano, who helped organize the fundraiser said.
