Monmouth University pollsters have tried to answer a question that has been hard to solve for many in the Garden State: Where is Central Jersey exactly? A police pursuit through Fair Lawn of two men wanted for a pair of armed robberies in Paterson ended, as Christmas Eve began, with one caught and the other sought. Authorities had been looking for a stolen Chevy Colorado pickup truck used in both holdups, including the robbery of a 7-Eleven on Ryerson Avenue around midnight on Friday, Dec. 22. Good things come to those who wait. A 29-year-old Elizabeth man was arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 8 for robbing a 7-Eleven at gunpoint in Linden in May 2020, authorities said. At 2 a.m. on May 20, Andrew Medeiros entered the 7-Eleven at 2309 E. Edgar Rd., pointed a blank handgun at the cashier and demanded money from the register, Linden police said.
