Police: Bayonne Boy 'Covered In Blood, Fighting' Stabbed By Man A Bayonne boy was found covered in blood after being stabbed by a man with a pocket knife in an unprovoked attack Friday, authorities said. Police responding to 45th Street and Avenue E found Devron R. Purvis, 38, and the boy fighting around 9:20 p.m., Capt. Eric Amato said. The boy was walking in the area when Purvis attacked him and stabbed him in the back with a pocket knife, Amato said.
