Update: Newark Siblings, Ages 14 And 9, Reported Missing Have Been Found

UPDATE: The children have been found safe, police said Wednesday afternoon.

Police in Newark are asking the public's help locating two young siblings who disappeared early Wednesday morning.

Treazure Green, 14, and her 9-year-old brother Shan were last seen around 2 a.m. in the 100 block of South 7th Street. Treazure is 5'7", 120 lbs. with a dark brown complexion. She has dark brown box braids with ribbons in her hair and probably is carrying a piece of luggage that's purple with multi-colored dots.

One of the children may have run away before, police said.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Treazure Greene and her brother is urged to call the department's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477) or 1-877-NWK-GUNS (1-877-695-4867). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
