Seen HIM? Newark Police Looking For Armed Robbery Suspect

Police in Newark are asking the public’s help identifying the person (pictured) who committed robbery in the city May 9.

Police said the victim was robbed at gunpoint around 3:45 p.m. in the 700 block of Clinton Avenue. The victim was sitting inside a parked work van when the suspect, a black male, pedaled up the van on a pink or red bike, pulled the gun and demanded cash.

The suspect is 5’8” with a slim build. He was wearing black pants and blue bubble jacket with a hood.
