Know Them? Newark Police Seek IDs For Men Who Shot Victim After Robbing Him

Police in Newark are turning to the public for help identifying a trio of men who robbed a victim at gunpoint then shot him.

The incident occurred on the 300 block of Goldsmith Avenue around 3:55 a.m. Aug. 22, Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose said.

The suspects fled south on Aldine Avenue in an older model silver Nissan Altima.

The victim was taken to University Hospital and is reportedly in stable condition.
