Wife Found Dead On Front Lawn In NJ Murder Suicide: Prosecutor
A New Jersey woman was found dead on her front lawn, and her husband dead inside, in what police say was a murder suicide.
James Jasper, 66, of Fords, is believed to have shot his wife, Lynn Jasper, 69 of Fords, before turning the gun on himself at a house on Soren Street in Woodbridge Wednesday, Aug. 31, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said.
Arriving officers found Lynn having suffered multiple gunshot wounds on the lawn, and then found her husband inside the house with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Ciccone said.

A New York man and New Jersey man with several warrants out for his arrest were in a stolen truck without plates when they were found with a loaded handgun and hollow point bullets over the weekend in Hudson County, authorities said.
Secaucus Officer Salvatore Manente Jr. spotted the parked Penske moving truck, occupied by Fabian D. Soto, 30, of New York, NY, and Fatah Iarkane, 23 of Secaucus, around 12 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 21, Chief Dennis Miller said.

Second Passenger Dies After Double-Decker Megabus Overturns On NJ Turnpike (Photos)
UPDATED: A second passenger has died after a double-decker Megabus overturned on the NJ Turnpike Tuesday, Aug. 9, authorities said.
Three others were seriously hurt.
The bus, carrying about 20 passengers, was heading south when it collided with a pickup truck on the outer roadway at milepost 93.1 in Woodbridge, New Jersey State Police said.
Cheryl Johnson, 59, of Bronx, N.Y. sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead on scene.
Cecilia Kiyanitza, 66, of Woodbury, N.J. was airlifted to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
