Investigators said they don't suspect any wrongdoing in the death of Lestor Tabora, 31, whose body was found near the corner of William Street and West Linden Avenue. The resident said the stranger approached and "engaged him in a conversation about his dog" on West Englewood Avenue and William Street shortly after 6 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, Lt. Fred Pulice said. When he turned to walk away, he said, the would-be robber "grabbed him from behind and began reaching into his pockets."
