A 34-year-old New Jersey man has been charged with murder and related offenses in the stabbing deaths of his parents, authorities said.
Police responding to a Lincoln Avenue home around 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2, noticed blood on the door of the home and a man, later identified as Michael Mulgrew, walking away, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.

A man was arrested in connection with illegally selling marijuana and THC-related products in Ocean County — and he had help from his mom, authorities said.
Approximately 70 pounds of marijuana, 1,500 pounds of THC-related products, a 9 mm handgun, and approximately $390,000 in cash, were seized from Scott Carlino, 52, of Toms River, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.
Ellen Carlino, his 74-year-old mother, was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Financial Facilitation, Billhimer said.

Supermarket Brawl: Worker At Bergen Shop-Rite Beaten With Chair, Choked Out, Arrest Made
An outside employee on the job at a ShopRite in Rochelle Park beat another with a metal folding chair, then choked him out before fleeing, authorities said.
Leslie A. Mann, 53, grabbed the chair during an argument with a fellow privately contracted employee at the West Passaic Street supermarket, Police Capt. James DePreta said.
Mann, of Riverdale, hit the co-worker over the head with the chair several times, then punched him in the chest, knocking him to the floor, the captain said.
He then choked the victim with his hands until he lost consciousness, DePreta said.

A Jersey City man shot dead his schoolteacher wife and fled to Pennsylvania, authorities believe.
Lucas Cooper, 39, is being held in Bethlehem, PA, on charges of murder, weapon possession, and child endangerment, said Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez in a statement Tuesday, Jan. 24.
Jersey City police were dispatched to Cooper's home on the 300 block of Bergen Avenue at 7 a.m. on Tuesday for a reported shooting in progress, officials said.
