Come Have Coffee, Conversation With Englewood Police Englewood police are hosting the popular "Coffee With a Cop" get-together on Dec. 12. The majority of contacts the public has with law enforcement comes during emergencies or emotional situations -- not always the best times for relationship-building, Deputy Police Chief Gregory Halstead said. The highly successful "Coffee With a Cop" program provides a relaxed, informal setting where community issues can be discussed and relationships built, the deputy chief said.
