$1B Mega Millions Jackpot Ticket Sold At NJ ShopRite Remains Unclaimed Six Months Later
A Mega Millions ticket winning the $1.13 billion jackpot was sold at a New Jersey ShopRite last March. Now, lottery officials are urging the person who bought it to come forward, as the deadline to claim the ticket is fast approaching. The cash value of the March 26 ticket sold at the Route 66 ShopRite in Neptune is an estimated $537.5 million. The winning numbers for the drawing were: 07, 11, 22, 29 and 38. Beloved Hunterdon County native and Penn State graduate Megan Elizabeth Greene died after a long illness on Jan. 6. She was 38. Born in South Plainfield, Greene grew up in Hunterdon County before moving to Connecticut with her family during her high school years, her obituary says.
