Lyndhurst police nabbed four men -- two of whom ran -- as they tried to sell a stolen Long Island car to an online buyer in Lyndhurst, authorities said. The 2014 Mercedes had been reported stolen after the owner’s daughter left it running with the keys inside in Great River, a town in Suffolk County, they said. Becton Regional High School in East Rutherford temporarily went into lockdown Friday morning as borough police chased down three young suspects riding in a stolen car. All three bailed out in the area of Hackensack and Ann street and tried to run after police spotted them but were quickly captured, Deputy Police Chief Phillip Taormina said. Two boys – one 15, the other 16 – and a third suspect led Hackensack police on a high-speed pursuit in two stolen vehicles, authorities said. It began when Detective Lt.
