Anthony Rose Of Bayonne, 29, Mechanic Who Loved Motorcycles
Anthony Rose of Bayonne died suddenly on Sunday. He was 29 years old. A lifelong resident of the city, he worked as a mechanic for Conrail and was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Judy (nee Cuillo); siblings Dina; Frank and his wife Lauren; and Lisa Gomez and her husband Alex. He was also uncle to Lilah, Alicia, Ray, Mason, Madden and Angelina. He is also survived by other family and close friends. Anthony also leaves behind his dog Jay. A second North Jersey priest has taken a leave of absence from his parish amid a renewed sexual misconduct investigation. Rev. Jim Weiner of St. Andrew's Church in Westwood stepped away from his position after church officials announced they would be reopening an investigation from nearly 15 years ago, Archdiocese of Newark spokesman Jim Goodness said. UPDATE: A no-holds-barred account of sex abuse has gotten a once-popular Ridgefield Park priest removed from his current position. An investigation by the Archdiocese of Newark was continuing into the allegations against the Rev.
