'This Is Your Final Warning:' NJ Pair Set Off Bomb In Biz Associate's Driveway, Feds Say
While being interviewed by investigators, a New York resident got the following text message: "Knock knock, show up, and what do you think is next. This is your final warning.” The text was from Damjan Stanivukovic, a Closter resident, who was later arrested for exploding a bomb in the victim's New York driveway with help from Vladamir Radunovic, who has ties to Pompton Lakes, Clifton, and Paterson, according to court documents filed with the US District Court of the Southern District of New York. Man Struck, Killed By Commuter Train In Ramsey
Authorities confirmed a Wednesday morning commuter train fatality in Ramsey. The man was struck and killed by a Rockland County-bound NJ TRANSIT Main Line Train #1109 about 300 yards south of the Main Street crossing and the Ramsey train station around 9:40 a.m. Nov. 15. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. "There were no injuries reported to the approximately 20 customers or crew on board," NJ Transit Senior Public Information Officer Kyalo Mulumba said. Divers Search Mahwah Lake For Drowned Paddle Boarder
UPDATE: The body of a drowned paddle boarder was recovered from a Mahwah lake Tuesday afternoon, responders said. The body of the 24-year-old victim from Mountainside Avenue was found in 15 feet of water shortly before 3 p.m. He wasn't immediately identified by name. The boarder had lost his grip and fell into Dators Pond at the foot of Stag Hill Road early Thursday evening, responders said.
