Stew Leonard's has announced the opening date for its food and wine store in Passaic County. The Stew Leonard's Farm Fresh Food and Wine store will be opening on Friday, May 17 in Clifton's Styertowne Shopping Center at 467 Allwood Road. The 56,000 square foot grocery and wine store is the second of its kind in New Jersey and will feature more than a dozen local vendors from dozens of Garden State farms. New Grocery Store Coming To Downtown Hackensack
Hackensack is getting a new grocery store. Maharaja Hypermarket signed a lease in a 3,500-square-foot space on Main Street. The full-service grocery store will be located at the ground floor of Crossroads 389, located at 389 Main St. The five-story, 119,000-square-foot mixed-use building opened earlier this year. Burlington Opening New Location In North Jersey
Burlington is opening another store in Bergen County. The retailer, formerly Burlington Coat Factory, will be opening a location in Ramsey this fall at the Interstate Shopping Center at 235 Interstate Shopping Center, it announced. The Shops at Hudson Lights continues to expand with new retail outlets, restaurants and spots to play ping pong. Some new stores are sweetening up the Bergen Town Center. Crumbl Cookies is one of several new stores opening at the shopping center in Paramus. Two more New Jersey Burlington stores are on their way. Burlington, formerly Burlington Coat Factory, will be opening one store in Morristown in March and another in Rio Grande in April, its website shows. The Morristown store will be located at 191 E. Hanover Ave., and the Rio Grande store in the Rio Grande Plaza, according to job postings from Burlington. Three dozen Bed Bath & Beyond stores in New Jersey are among 87 locations scheduled to close in 2023, the struggling retailer announced. A settlement has been finalized in the transformation of Hackensack's longstanding and iconic Sears building, NorthJersey.com reports. After navigating through bankruptcy, as well as not one but two lawsuits, the plan for the nearly-century-old building is to construct 258 apartments while simultaneously conserving the primary tri-story tower, the outlet reports. Bed Bath & Beyond To Shutter These 3 NJ Locations
Three New Jersey Bed Bath & Beyond stores will shutter by the end of the year, the company announced this week. The company announced earlier this year it planned on closing 150 stores, and on Thursday, Sept. 15, released a list of 56 that will close by the end of 2022. Those stores are: Flanders, 30 International Dr. Manalapan, 13 Route 9 S. Paramus, 34 E Ridgewood Ave. Bed Bath & Beyond has 28 stores in New Jersey, and headquarters in Union.
