Hudson Dad Of Middlesex County Man Shot Dead During Domestic Call Questions Officer's Actions
A Hudson County man whose son was shot and killed by a police officer responding to a domestic dispute at his Middlesex County home called the incident an "indiscriminate" shooting. New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin identified the man killed by an Old Bridge police officer in the Laurence Harbor section of town earlier this week as Luke Mendez, 26. Elected officials and political candidates from two counties face charges of bribery stemming from a probe into public corruption, state Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal said Thursday.
