A 64-year-old resident was killed in a fire in a Parsippany garden apartment Sunday afternoon, responders said. His name was being withheld pending notification of next of kin. A Morris Plains man headed to Florida was arrested at Newark Liberty International Airport Monday when a loaded gun was found in his carry-on luggage, the Transportation Security Administration said in a statement.
