Klaus Meckeler, a gastroenterologist from Somerset County, brought the property at 99 Ocean E. — about a quarter mile off the coast of Marathon, FL — for $25,000, as reported by Tom Avril, of the Philadelphia Inquirer. The two New Jersey sailors found alive after 10 days missing at sea are telling their tale. Two New Jersey sailors missing at sea for nearly ten days have been found alive. Kevin Hyde, 655, and Joe DiTommasso, 76, departed Cape May on the Atrevida II NJ 7033HN) and were headed toward Marathon, FL, the US Coast Guard said. They were last in contact with family and friends on Dec. 3, when they departed Oregon Inlet, North Carolina. A sailboat headed to Florida from New Jersey has been reported missing by the US Coast Guard. Kevin Hyde, 64, and Joe DiTommasso, 76, departed Cape May on the Atrevida II NJ 7033HN) and is headed toward Marathon, FL, the US Coast Guard said.
