Driver, 30, Dies When Car Plunges Into Central Jersey Lake A 30-year-old New Brunswick resident died after driving into Lake Nelson, authorities said. Alquan Green was driving north on Metlars Lane at 6:51 p.m. Saturday, May 13 when his SUV crashed through a guardrail and landed in the lake, Piscataway officials said. The trooper was sitting in a troop car with emergency lights activated parked along the side of Route 655 in Frankford while assisting with a crash when the car was hit from behind by a Chevrolet Equinox just after 3:50 p.m., NJSP Tpr.
