Archbishop Leads Newark March Against 'Inhumane' Treatment Of Immigrant Kids Cardinal Joseph Tobin, the Catholic Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Newark, led a march in Newark Wednesday morning calling on Congress and the Trump administration to end what protesters described as the harsh treatment of immigrant children.  Before the march participants assembled at St. Mary's Abby and then headed to the Peter J. Rudino Federal Building on Broad Street, News 12 New Jersey reported. Dozens Of Bergen County Priests Accused Of Sexual Abuse, NJ Diocese Reveals The Catholic Church in New Jersey on Wednesday released a list of allegedly abusive priests. Cardinal Joseph Tobin, the archbishop of Newark, in November announced there would be a "complete review" of abuse allegations and establishment of a victim compensation fund and counseling program. The list follows a two-year investigation that found more than 1,000 victims spanning 70  years -- along with evidence of a coverup by some church leaders.
