Beloved North Jersey native and “force to be reckoned with” Amber Stefanie Takesh died following an incredibly brave battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia on Thursday, Oct. 6. She was 24. A native of Montville, Amber graduated from Montville High School in 2016, her obituary says. She went on to attend James Madison University, where she earned a Bachelor’s in 2019 and a Master’s in accounting in 2020. She was also a member of the Sigma Kappa sorority. Friends Seek Justice For Morris County Man, 20, Found Hanged In Park
Friends of a Morris County man whose body was found hanged in a park last weekend are seeking justice. Morris County authorities said Friday they'd found no evidence of criminal wrongdoing to this point in the hanging park death of a 20-year-old Amani Kildea, of Long Valley. His death had been ruled a suicide. A Change.org petition called "Justice for Amani Kildea" launched by Taylor Packwood, however, had garnered more than 31,000 signatures as of Friday afternoon. Ex-Hackensack HS Football Star Busted On Warrants During Drug Raid
A former Hackensack High School football star who was acquitted several years ago of beating a man into critical condition outside a Passaic nightclub was arrested by city police during a drug raid at an ex-con’s house. Ausar Walcott, 29, of Lodi wasn’t charged with any drug-related offenses during the arrest of Kisaac Martin at Martin’s Broadway home before dawn Friday, Capt. Peter Busciglio said.
