Update: Drivers Killed In Palisades Interstate Parkway Head-On Crash Identified Authorities identified both drivers who were killed in a head-on crash over the weekend on the Palisades Interstate Parkway just north of the New Jersey border, responders said. Aristan Garandeau, 22, of Croton-on-Hudson was pronounced dead at the scene after driving his 2017 Subaru Impreza south in the parkway's northbound lanes and hitting a 2016 Toyota Avalon head-on in the passing lane between exits 9 and 10 in Rockland at 2:40 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 6, New York State Police said.
