Small Plane Taxis Into Teterboro Airport Building: FAA
A small plane experiencing possible brake failure taxied into a line service building at the main terminal of Teterboro Airport in New Jersey on Thursday night, Sept. 19, federal officials said. The FAA said that the Cessna Citation was carrying five people at the time of the 10 p.m. crash. A Port Authority PD spokesperson said no injuries were reported. Thomas Gibson was the sole occupant of the single-engine Piper PA-12 that crashed into a field near Paramount Air Airport around 9:40 a.m., the FAA and Middle Township police said.
