Newark Teen, Grandmother Busted: Guns, Ammo Seized After Secaucus Car Burglary Arrest Police who nabbed a Newark teen for a car burglary in Secaucus ended up seizing both him and his grandmother after finding three handguns and 400 rounds of ammunition at their home, authorities said. Secaucus police originally charged Malahki E. Issac, 18, with burglary and theft for the vehicle break-in and released him last month. A deeper dive by members of the department’s Anti-Crime Unit led them to even more serious offenses, Police Chief Dennis Miller said. Jhan Michael Rodriguez-Fonseca, 26, lives in Jersey City and most recently worked as a food delivery driver, Dumont Police Chief Brian Joyce said. ICE Seeking Detainee Who Escaped From NJ Jail Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials are looking for a 31-year-old man who escaped from the Essex County Correctional Facility in Newark Friday. Luis Cordon-Guzman, Guatemalan national, was deported from the U.S. on April 24, 2019, and illegally reentered on an unknown date and location, a felony under federal law. He has multiple pending felony charges out Trenton stemming from a March 16 arrest by local police, ICE officials said.
