'Deeply Offensive:' 30 Dwight-Englewood 7th Graders Were On Racist Text Chain, Admin Says The Dwight-Englewood school, a private school in Bergen County, said more than 30 7th grade boys were involved in a text chain that featured racist language. In a letter sent to parents, Jeremy Gregersen, the head of school, said the texts contained highly-charged language and anti-Black, racist memes. Leonia Native Anthony Bourdain Dead From Apparent Suicide At 61 Leonia native and chef, author, and television personality Anthony Bourdain was found dead of an apparent suicide in a French hotel Friday. He was 61. Having graduated from the Dwight-Englewood School in 1973, Bourdain became most known as host of CNN’s “Parts Unknown” TV show.  A 1978 graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, Bourdain returned to CIA last year where he was awarded an honorary doctorate. Bourdain also attended Vassar College in Poughkeepsie. He was regarded as one of the most well-known and influential chefs in the world.
