The Philadelphia dad who allegedly used his 11-month-old son as a human shield during a shooting spawned by a drug deal gone bad has taken to social media to mourn the boy's loss. New Brunswick Man Charged With Causing OD Death Of Somerset County Woman
A New Brunswick man is accused of providing a woman with the cocktail of drugs including fentanyl and cocaine that killed her last January, authorities said Wednesday. Lashawn D. Boyd, 24, met up with the 37-year-old Bedminster woman for a drug deal on Jan. 19, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson, Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Chief of County Detectives John W. Fodor and Bedminster Township Police Chief Karl Rock said. Authorities in Somerset County are seeking a man who they say sped away from police after being caught in a drug deal. Saul Weaver III, 48, of Hampton, is wanted on a charge of eluding police following Tuesday's incident, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Teaneck Police Capture Robber Who Fired Blank Gun In Drug Deal Gone Bad, Authorities Say
Teaneck police assisted by a Bergen County SWAT team captured an 18-year-old local man who they said robbed a couple with an imitation handgun during a drug deal. Detectives found a blank gun and bandana that they said Jairrod Shannon, 18, used during the Oct. 5 holdup on Bogert Street, Police Chief Glenn M. O’Reilly said.
