Teacher Pulls Off Epic Surprise, Introduces Students To Paul Rudd On Field Trip To NJ Mall
In 2014, "People" named Nicholas Ferroni "Sexiest Teacher Alive." Ten years later, he may just be the coolest teacher alive, too. The Union High School teacher surprised his students with Paul Rudd, the magazine's Sexiest Man Alive in 2021, during a field trip to the NJ Hall of Fame on Tuesday, Oct. 1. Ferroni works closely with the NJ Hall of Fame, having interviewed inductees, such as Danny DeVito. While organizing the field trip, one of the officials mentioned that Rudd was going to be there that day. "We then kind of said it would be fun to surprise some students who were thinkin…

Aaron Rodgers Cheers On Fellow NJ Resident Tommy Paul At US Open
The US Open is the place to be for New Jersey residents on Sunday, Sept. 3. Aaron Rodgers, who famously moved to Montclair earlier this year, was among the celebs at this year's US Open, presumably cheering on Voorhees native, Tommy Paul. Paul, 26, advanced to the fourth round of the Open for the first time in his career, after beating Spain's Alejandro Davidovich Fokina on Friday, Sept. 1. He lost in the fourth set, making 20-year-old Ben Shelton the youngest American quarter-finalist since Andy Roddick in 2002. There was no shortage of star power in the stands for Paul's match. Rodgers i…

Danny DeVito was possibly the last person in the world Jessica Barberia expected to bump into on her daily run. But lo and behold, as she trotted down Main Street in Belmar, Barberia spotted the "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" star walking out of Jersey Mikes on Monday morning, July 10. "In my head I thought, 'Oh my God that’s Danny DeVito!!" Barberia tells Daily Voice. "'No it can’t be!'" As she got closer, she knew her eyes were not deceiving her. Turns out, DeVito — an Asbury Park native and the new face of Jersey Mikes — was in the area after donating $500,000 to the Jersey Shore …

Jersey 4 Jersey: Reunited Fountains Of Wayne Dedicates "Hackensack" To Late Adam Schlesinger
A song written nearly two decades ago made for a touching tribute during the “Jersey 4 Jersey” benefit Wednesday night when Fountains of Wayne co-founder Chris Collingwood dedicated “Hackensack” to late bandmate Adam Schlesinger. Collingwood co-wrote “Hackensack” in 2003 with Schlesinger, a former Montclair resident who died of coronavirus complications earlier this month. “I will wait for you / As long as I need to / And if you ever get back to Hackensack / I'll be here for you….” Handling what would have been Schlesinger’s bass and backing vocals during the virtual reunion from the band …
