Grand Jurors Indict 14 In Shooting Of NJ State Trooper Fourteen people were indicted Monday in connection with the shooting of a New Jersey State Police detective who was investigating a trailer park home invasion. Michael Mecca, 39, was in an argument with the victim in Roxbury the night of May 31 when he left and returned with a .40 caliber Highpoint handgun, Acting Morris County Prosecutor Robert J.
