Bergen County is home to yet another Amazon Fresh store. The 40,000-square-foot store on Memorial Drive, which replaced the Kmart that closed in 2016, is the third in New Jersey. The two others are located in Paramus and Eatontown. The Amazon Fresh store in Lodi features the company's latest brick-and-mortar design unveiled last year in Chicago and Southern California. Retired Police Chief Opens Chick-fil-A On Route 46
Thursday, May 2, will be a big day for chicken lovers in Morris County. Chick-fil-A announced its the opening date of the new Parsippany location at 1180 Route 46. The restaurant will be open for pick-up, dine-in, drive-thru and carryout from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. with the drive-thru open until 10 p.m., Monday to Saturday. Chick-fil-A will be closed Sundays, of course. The restaurant will be opened by Charlie Atie, the former police chief in Prospect Park. : Springsteen Reopens Broadway
Bruce Springsteen will reopen Broadway this summer, it was announced Monday. The autobiographical “Springsteen on Broadway” -- which sold $113 million in tickets during its original run -- will be the first show to open on the Great White Way since the March 2020 COVID pandemic shutdown. It will have a limited run at the St. James Theater (246 W. 44th Street) beginning Saturday, June 26, through Sept. 4, when more theaters are expected to have reopened.
