Paterson Man, 21, Killed In Double Shooting On Cross Bronx Expressway:

A 21-year-old man from Paterson was killed and a woman injured in a shooting early Sunday morning, Nov. 24 on the Cross Bronx Expressway, authorities said. The incident occurred at approximately 5:49 a.m. when shots were fired at a 2010 Toyota Corolla traveling westbound on I-95, striking Ivan DeJesus Bueno in the head, a spokesman for the NYPD said. A 21-year-old woman in the car was hit in the shoulder. A 27-year-old man, who was driving the Toyota Corolla, was not injured. Twelve-year Pequannock rescue squad member Matthew J. Mudd died after a fearless battle with cancer on Thursday, Sept. 29, just six days after his wedding. He was 33. Fairview Man Charged With Vehicular Homicide In Deaths Of Couple On GWB
Authorities charged a Fairview driver with two counts of vehicular homicide in the deaths of a Bronx couple killed in a crash Friday on the George Washington Bridge. Charles R. Wilson, 45, was heading toward New Jersey on the bridge’s lower level shortly before 9:30 a.m. Friday when his 2014 Chevy Corvette slammed into the rear of a 2011 Honda CRV, sending it crashing onto the divider, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. A Waldwick mother of 8th-grade triplets collapsed and died in the borough’s middle school parking lot as she headed to “Back to School” night Thursday -- hours before her 44th birthday.
