An Asbury Park man accused of killing one of his girlfriend’s Toy Poodles and abandoning the other has been criminally charged, authorities said. Nicholas C. Winter, 35, is charged with animal cruelty resulting in death and abandoning a domestic animal, according to Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey. A 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection with Tuesday's near-fatal stabbings outside Asbury Park High School, authorities said. Jadon Carter, 20, of Asbury Park, has been arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree attempted murder and fourth degree unlawful possession of a weapon, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. A driver caught with shotguns in Paterson was driving the Jeep of a woman who's been missing since the Jersey Shore home they shared was burned last week in a fire, said authorities who sought the public's help finding her.
