Tenafly Parents Protest Teachers' No-Show

TENAFLY, N.J. -- Parents with students at Tenafly schools became upset when they were informed by a letter that teachers would not be attending Back-To-School Night, according to NJ.com.

Tenafly teachers will be attending Back-To-School due to ongoing negotiations with contracts.

Teachers are currently in negotiations over salaries and rising health care costs and warned that if an agreement wasn't met at the state-mediated negotiation session on July 23, they would not be attending, said NJ.com.
