Englewood Cliffs District May End Relationship With Englewood Schools

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. — The Englewood Cliffs school district might look to end its send-receive relationship with Englewood instead of paying tuition for students attending the magnet program at Dwight-Morrow High School, NorthJersey.com is reporting.

Starting in July 2016, Englewood Cliffs will have to pay tuition that the state Department of Education previously paid for borough students who attend the Academies@Englewood program, the report says.

Englewood Cliffs, which doesn't have its own high school, has about two dozen students attending the Academies this year, at $17,700 per student, it says.
