Worker Injured In Flash Oxygen Fire At Englewood HMC

ENGLEWOOD, N.J. -- A worker soldering a pipe in a maintenance closet at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center was injured Monday morning when a burst of oxygen ignited, authorities said.

The worker was treated at the hospital after the flash fire just after 8 a.m., they said, adding that operations weren't disrupted.

Firefighters from Englewood and Tenafly responded.
