The primary suspect, 27-year-old Darryl Tinsley (right, top) was fast asleep the morning of Aug. 2 when a task force of officers hit a Teaneck home where he’d been staying and took him into custody.
A month later, 25-year-old Englewood resident Raymond Perry was arrested by city Detectives Chris Kedersha, Carlos Marte, Desmond Singh and Marc McDonald on Sept. 5. He’s been free on $100,000 bail since Sept. 20.
Jordan, meanwhile, was being held on $300,000 bail after being booked today.
It was around midnight July 20 when the victims were held up by three masked men, Englewood Police Detective Capt. Timothy Torell said.
The robbers took a custom Range Rover Sport HSE, along with the other items, he said.
“The bad guys then drove off in the Range Rover, shadowed by a light-colored SUV….,” Torell said at the time. “The high-end Range Rover was later dumped in the Rock Creek Housing Development in the City’s 2nd Ward.”
Tinsley — who remained held in the county jail tonight on $500,000 bail — orchestrated the ripoff, he said. Charges against him include first-degree counts of conspiracy to commit armed robbery and carjacking.
“We are still pursuing significant avenues of investigation in this case as to the identity of the fourth suspect, as well as other leads we have developed up to this point,” Torell said tonight.
