Meaney, who was headed to Istanbul, was taken into custody moments after posting on his Facebook page: “My flight has been cancelled!”
The woman “reported experiencing pains in her chest” and notified PAPD police around 6:30 p.m. inside Terminal 1, the authority’s Joseph Pentangelo said.
“The officers responded, interviewed the complainant and witnesses who confirmed the victim’s claim,” Pentangelo said, adding that Meaney, 58, was immediately taken into custody and charged with assault.

The woman declined medical attention, he said.
Meaney, who keeps a residence in New York, got into a scuffle with a National Guardsman at San Francisco International Airport in 2002 after his then-wife set off a metal detector.

Meaney, who was a cast member on “Saturday Night Live” for a single episode in 1986, appeared in the movie “Big” with Tom Hanks and starred in the CBS sitcom “Uncle Buck.” His catchphrase: “That’s not right!”
He’s scheduled to tour Israel with fellow comedians Bobby Slayton and Avi Liberman beginning June 13.
