So he told the woman he'd fetch it for her and instead called police, who arrested her and her boyfriend.

Precious Broadus, 21, of Queens and 36-year-old Dexroy King -- also known as Rodrigues Deon Freeman -- had her one-year-old child with them, Detective Capt. Timothy Torell told Daily Voice.

They were arrested by Police Officers Adolfo Gutierrez and Anthony Gonzalez, who responded to the West Hamilton Avenue call and retrieved the $2,500 worth of cellphones.

They officers also found a bogus New Jersey driver’s license in the caller’s wife’s name with Broadus’ photo on it , Torell said.

They also found another fraudulent government I.D. from the State of Connecticut with Broadus’ photo on it. Broadus.

King was being held on $30,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with conspiracy, criminal attempt, receiving stolen property and obstruction.

Broadus was being held on $10,000 bail, charged with attempted theft, identity theft, hindering and offering a fraudulent document for identification.

The state Division of Child Protection & Permanency responded to take care of the child.

The couple was "more sophisticated than the average criminals we see that are involved in these types of crimes, in that they were prepared with identification if challenged from a delivery driver," Torell said.

Their arrests "demonstrate the cooperation between the public and the police that is needed to prevent other citizens from being victimized.

"We urge all residents that if they see or experience something suspicious, especially as it relates to the delivery of packages, to please call their local police department right away -- especially if they receive an item that they did not order."
