Dorian "Cali" Johnson, a 33-year-old concrete contractor, was being held on $100,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail on various drug and weapons charges, records show.
Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said his detectives arrested Johnson along with his cousin, Dwight Horne Jr. of Teaneck, on Thursday.
Horne, a 30-year-old concrete contractor who Grewal said was carrying a small amount of marijuana, was released on a summons.
A search warrant executed at Johnson's Morse Place apartment turned up the contraband and cash, he said.
The investigation leading to the arrests was led by the prosecutor's Narcotic Task Force, with assistance from the county sheriff's office and police from Dumont, Englewood and Tenafly, Grewal said.
Twice during the probe, Johnson sold marijuana to an undercover detective, the prosecutor said.
Arraignments were scheduled for this Monday.
