Bullets enter house in Englewood drive-by shooting

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: No one was struck when a drive-by shooter fired several bullets into an Englewood residence during an overnight house party, city police said.

Partygoers said they heard a vehicle speed away after the shooting near the intersection of Orchard Street and West Hudson Avenue, a short distance from Englewood’s north shopping district, Detective Capt. Timothy Torell told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

The Bergen County Sheriff’s Bureau of Criminal Identification collected evidence.

“We have had some quality of life issues there,” Torell said. “Needless to say, the residence is now under very close scrutiny.”
