Alpine Promotes Two Police Officers

ALPINE, N.J. -- Alpine officials promoted and swore in two officers.

New Lt. Michael Lizzi and Sgt. Matthew Kent were sworn at a June 22 mayor and council meeting.

New Lt. Michael Lizzi and Sgt. Matthew Kent were sworn at a June 22 mayor and council meeting.

Lizzi began his career with the New York State Police. He was hired by Alpine in 1996 and promoted to sergeant in 2013. He is married with two children.

Kent was hired by Alpine in 2002. He is married with three children.
